TR-979 single board computer comes with Intel Pentium 4, 3.0 GHz 800 FSB processor and is compatible with all PICMG type passive and active backplanes. 

TR-979 is fully compatible with all Windows operating systems, including Windows NT. This SBC is also compatible with LINUX and current version of QNX.

It is based on the Intel 865G chipset, which is the last chipset from Intel that will support industrial ISA legacy cards. Later chipsets for dual core duo processors do not support bus-master control needed by many of the older ISA cards.

Transduction guarantees supply of this single board computer with P4 3.0 GHz processor until the year of 2017. We have purchased large quantities of Intel 865G chipsets and P4 3.0 GHz processors to be able to supply this single board computer and TR-ATX-865G motherboard for many years to come. We provide long term support for our industrial clients!

Actual MTBF of the TR-979 SBC, based on our service records is in excess of 100,000 hours. The warranty is 2 years.

The TR-979 SBC can be supplied with any of our rack or panel mount chassis and backplane that you need. When supplied as part of the complete computer system from Transduction, the warranty is 3 years.
