Transduction is an established manufacturer (1975) of reliable rack mount and panel mount computers, LCD monitors, digital video wall displays and custom chassis for utilities, process control, military and telecoms.
Most rack and panel mount computers supplied by Transduction are based on telecom grade single board computer design with a passive backplane for a larger number of ISA and PCI slots. These are for clients who are concerned with high reliability, longevity of product supply, and hardware and BIOS revision control. Alternatively, we can provide lower cost computers with industrial motherboards.
Most of our clients ask how often a computer is going to fail, not how cheap it is! While our prices are competitive we do not compromise on quality. All Transduction products have at least 3 or 5 year warranty, but they are designed to work for at least 10 years. We still maintain some computer systems supplied 25 years ago.
We offer only products with longevity of many years.
We have developed "high power" PC rack mount computers with 16 PCI slots and 1000W and 1500W power supplies. Our "high power" computers are in use on Trident class nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, reconnaissance aircraft, in nuclear power stations and specialized medical applications around the world.
We offer rapid prototype development services and we manufacture our products in Canada and Taiwan. Our manufacturing division in Taiwan gives us the opportunity to quote the most competitive volume pricing in the world. |
