OPTOMATE-RT Real Time Monitoring and Control Software Program

The purpose of PC based automation is to save costs and to work 24 hours a day with minimum need for maintenance. Many fine processes require implementation of high level mathematical equations, as is often the case in the sugar, fine chemicals, plastics, metallurgy and biotechnology industries.

Quite often the cost of plant or factory automation is high and the automation efforts are quite disappointing. The main reason for this is implementation of the project by "unethical" consultants whose goal is to make more money by selecting "advertised" but "difficult to program" hardware and software so they can justify costly "fixes" after the completion of the project.

Unlike other companies, Transduction offers "smart" automation that is cost-effective and risk free! Our approach is different because we do not start with the selection of "flashy" hardware and software, but with development of a mathematical model, which can be quickly created with our software tools and simulated on a trial basis before it is installed in a "live" plant. This approach has been successfully developed and tested by Atomic Energy of Canada, where for obvious reasons any control system has to be proven perfect prior to installation in the nuclear plant.

The steps needed for a successful automation project:

  1. Initial meeting to assess client requirements and need for automation.
  2. Detailed meeting with plant engineers to define monitoring and control parameters.
  3. Development of a mathematical model and necessary mathematical algorithms by Transduction.
  4. Demonstration and approval of the process model by client's staff. Please note that until this moment there is no cost to the client.
  5. Development of the mathematical simulator by Transduction and demonstration of automated process to client's staff.
  6. Development of documentation and operation manuals.
  7. Assistance with installation in the plant.
  8. Assistance with start-up of automated process and operator training.
  9. Annual maintenance contract for automation hardware and software set-up changes.

The above approach has been proven to lower cost of process or plant automation up to 60%. We have also always delivered finished product on time and all projects have had 100% client acceptance.

For additional information or cost estimate of your automation project call us at 1-800-268-0427 9AM to 5PM EST. We will show you how quickly we can develop your math and demonstrate automation of your process. A reference list of our clients is available on request.
